During his visit to the Wichita Aero Club on February 10, Governor Mark Parkinson unveiled an official proclamation which established February as AVIATION APPRECIATION MONTH in Kansas.  He presented the proclamation to WAC Chairman Bob Stangarone and WAC Executive Director Dave Franson at the conclusion of his remarks before the group.  The proclamation, pictured below, cites major accomplishments and contributions to the State's storied aviation history.
