Jim Coyne was named president of the National Air Transportation Association (NATA) in April of 1994. NATA represents the legislative, regulatory and business interests of the nation's general aviation service companies. Mr. Coyne is a former member of the U.S. House of Representatives from the State of Pennsylvania and served President Ronald Reagan as a Special Assistant and Director of the White House Office of Private Sector Initiatives. He holds a bachelor's degree from Yale University and an MBA from Harvard. With more than 25 years of experience as a licensed pilot, he regularly flew between his House district in Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C. As president of NATA he has visited more than 300 Fixed Base Operations around the country and regularly presents the viewpoint of our industry before Congressional committees, the FAA, and other federal agencies.
