August 23, 2011 - Message from Patrick Tuttle
Chairman of the Wichita Aero Club Board of Directors

Dear Members and Friends:

I am honored to serve as the second Chairman of the Wichita Aero Club. In its three years of existence the organization has established itself as one of the nation’s leading forums for addressing the aerospace industry’s issues and for providing its members with opportunities to meet and interact with aviation’s leaders, those who regulate it, influence it and report on it. We’ve experienced some incredible successes and some extraordinary challenges since our first meeting in December of 2008, and it has been extremely gratifying to be a part of the Aero Club’s response to both. The membership has been free with its praise and recognition of achievement and perhaps even more generous with its resources and encouragement during the difficult days when sales have been hard to come by and employment numbers have been reduced. I look forward to the coming year and the potential for an improving business climate. I hope you will join with me in encouraging others to become a part of the Wichita Aero Club and expand our opportunities to work together to grow our business, restore jobs, expand our markets and strengthen our community. In the meantime, we’ll keep doing our best to attract and engage the movers and shakers of our industry to come to the Air Capital.

Sincerely,

Patrick Tuttle
Chairman, Board of Directors, Wichita Aero Club
